White House. In the many years I have sped up & down I-65, the mysterious White House has piqued my interest. On one not-so-chilly Saturday, I decided that it was time to finally find out what White House was all about. What better way to do this than by getting some hot wings. I made plans with a fellow who knows the ins and outs of this area and this restaurant and prepared to eat some wings. You have a choice of avoiding the hot hot -- and that's just what I did. I went to town, though, on the sweeter-sauced wings. This isn't a meal you could/should every day, but when looking for some winter comfort food, you could make far worse choices. You don't have to rely solely on wings to eat here. I started my meal with a corn dog. What the wha?? Yeah, I have never been a fan of corn dogs. Ever. Not in elementary school. Not at fairs. Never. The very idea grosses me out. This corn dog... didn't make me gag. I attribute that to the handmade corn crust that surrounded the (admittedly) nasty dog. I'd eat that corn breading over just about any protein source. There's no rush at Richie's. It's a not a fancy place and I'd be surprised if it gets much business outside of its regulars. But... there are a lot of regulars so ol' Richie is just fine. I liked my waitress very much. She had just enough sass to make me long to hear 'kiss my grits' but not so much as to be annoying. She was a lot of fun and kept my gallon of sweet tea topped off. I may not have occasion to get to White House often but when I do, I can see another trip to Richie's in my future.

Their wings are as good as Hooters except they don't charge extra for blue cheese. Unless you want additional then it's $.50. Employees and owner are friendly and Dinning Room has a lot of space. I believe there's another room off to the side for private parties. They have live music on the weekends. A little bit pricey compared to the other places I've been but I would definitely go back!

In life you sometimes run across a place that just can't be beat. Now there are several people that will tell you that wings are amazing here or there and they are simply amazing and no one can beat them. I have news for the people that tell you that.......They are wrong! I have been going to Richie's wings since he was in Hendersonville and has since moved to White House but fellers, it's worth the drive! Richie makes all his all own sauces and he cooks everything fresh. His wing sauces range from BBQ and regular up to outragiously hot. I have had almost everything on the menu and so far I haven't had anything that is bad. If you ever decide you to make trip then let me give you some advice on things that you have to try..... The coleslaw, it is truly the best I have ever had. The cheesesticks, ask for the "special sauce" you will thank me for this. The corndog, the batter than man uses is made out of goodness. I don;t know how he does it but the thing is so good I have to get one everytime I go. So stop listening to everyone who jumps on the bandwagon of the best wings are within 5 miles of downtown, pack you a pillow and lunch and make the drive out to White House and give this place a chance. I know it sounds like White house is so far out there that it's not at the end of the world but you can see it from there. The reality is that its about 40 minutes from downtown to Richie's and it will be well worth the drive. Just go in and tell Jen and Richie that Bull sent you and they will take good care of you. Trust me, you will be glad you listened to me!!!

Awesome food and lightning speed service. Your water glass won't ever get lower than 99% full. Just crawling with cooks and waitresses bumping into each other. Get there early unless you want to wait a long time to get in. Parking lot is always full. There is a shuttle that runs between the restaurant and Wal-Mart though for overflow parking and it's free to ride. Food is exceptional and portions and prices are great.

First time we went here, I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad on Spring Mix. Really fresh, chicken moist pretty good for White House. Each time we have gone it seems to go down hill. Ordered carryout last night, they charged us $2.00 for dressing for our salads and wings. Wings were dry, overcooked....also ordered fries, asked for them "extra crispy"....they were undercooked and soggy. Bummer. Although for White House, this place is decent, don't make the trip unless you are already here.

So, I get a menu left at my house door, figured Id try some place new. I ordered the boneless wings 7.99 for 6 of them , I got 2 orders of them to have 12,. I ordered cheesesticks and coleslaw and fries also. I get the food home and the so called boneless wings looked like kids frozen chicken fingers with spice on top of them, looked and tasted like they had been left out all day , also the cheesesticks, stale and nasty. They also charged us for sauce that wasn't given to us. I wont be going back and would not recommend to anyone.

On a Saturday afternoon there was no host and we just sat ourselves down. The owner seemed to be the waiter and cook. He did his best. Had catfish, wings and a polish sausage. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a flaky crisp! Chicken wings were good but the catfish was where it's at. My husband is simple so that polish was his fav! Lol!

Went here for dinner a few nights ago and it was very disappointing and extremely over priced! The wings were so over cooked it hurt my jaws to try to chew them! Oh and the lack of sauce on them seems like an easy fix just by asking for an extra side but that will cost you more money! My husband ordered the catfish sandwich which was good but ordered the coleslaw as his side and yes it was fresh slaw but the dressing for the slaw was so watery it just drained right to the bottom of the plate therefore it was a compilation of fresh cabbage and no flavor. My daughter ordered two chicken tenders no side and a water and my husband and I both had waters and our bill was $36! When we were leaving my husband stated how disappointed he was and was still hungry! We will never go back there! Total disappointment but the potential is there. I

Hands down the best wings I've ever had. The service is slow. Like really slow. But it ends up being worth the wait when the deliciousness finally arrives at your table.

If you like wings, don't miss these. I had the perfecto hot sauce on mine, and they were great. They were large, and cooked perfectly. Other reviews recommended the slaw, and it didn't disappoint. Fresh and the slaw dressing was fabulous. I travel all over the south, and when I'm in the Nashville area I will stay in White House to go back to Richies

Read my original review from The Hendersonville location below. Instead of a 1 man show, Richie has 2 helpers now. So, service is just a little bit faster. The menu has also expanded However, I'm rating this visit a 1 star because Richie would not accept a Double Take Deals he participated in. It was for the Hendersonville location but you would think he would honor it. But instead he was rude about it. Didn't even say sorry. He even "lied" that He was bought out in the other location and didn't just move. 11/16/2011 Best wings period! The chicken sandwiches are just ok with me but I'm not a sandwich person. The cajun catfish and dirty rice are great. How bout them cole slaw. The ambience is a hole in the wall place. But that's where you can get great food.

Delicious food and happy to find it in White House. I had the ultimate chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and mushrooms. Someone else had a burger with Cajun seasoning--hand patted and delicious! Onion rings were fresh and perfectly cooked. Skip Sonic! You may wait a little while, but it is worth it. Several takeout orders were filled while we ate--takeout will be something we use a lot now that we know!!
